Lightbulb BMW M3 GTR color help

I just wanted to state a few things before I ask my question

1. I know this is not the ///M forums, but my question does not have to do with performance and it is the correct model year.

2. For all of you that got excited because I have access to an M3 GTR, I am sorry to tell you that it is not real and I wanted your advice to pick out colors .

That being said, I have been playing my Most Wanted game from when it came out in 2005, and have never been satisfied with the color combination they gave me. So now I am asking for think tank like advice to develop these colors. I have a little experience with complementary colors and keeping things simple, but I would ask the forum for advice in any case. I have tried lots of things like black with white stripes, just black, white with black sponsor logos, black with the "stock" (blue and white outline) stripes, and I have thought about doing a replica racecar that looks like it was stolen straight off a race track. None seem to fit and it is quite annoying driving a car that I am not satisfied with. I have gloss, metallic, chrome, matte, pearlescent, and candy paint styles so I'm all ears. Even though I can't layer the vinyls, I can use some basic ones for a desired effect. I'll try to help with all those who don't know the vinyl sets in the game. Thanks for the imagination you bring to the table and I am anxious to see some good ideas. Matt

Are you talking about a video game?

This is the most confusing thread ever.

BTW, what is the difference if the color change is real or not? Besides this has been pissing me off for YEARS and I have never asked for advice.

Just do brown. It would be a unique colour for a BMW.

On a sports car? I think of brown as a more sophisticated color. Maybe along the lines of a sedan. But thanks for responding. It assures me that SOME people are actually taking this seriously.

Get off your ass, and get a life. You seriously wanted our opinion on a video game?

I, myself, have an affinity for red w/ black stripes. I'm no gamer, so my opinion may not be valued here. I much prefer reality, hence my real car painted red w/ black stripes. I think it may be in your best interest to hit the mall, grab a soda and wait for some tweens to get dropped off by their mom, check her car to see if you like the colors, then ask the tweens for some color options. They're probably in the know with the vinyl options and have already configured some rock'n effects. So, yeah, good luck with that.

and I also find it especially funny that the only person to "seriously" respond to this kid was GoingNuts.

I STILL don't understand the difference between real and not real cars. Obviously there is a difference as to the horrible reception here. But fine, I'll go tune my real BMW which I have lots of ideas for but no money to tune it and my fake one with tons of money but STILL NO IDEAS.

This.

I don't mean to come across as overly harsh, but when you're on your video game and you take a corner hard, do you slide out of your seat? As realistic as video games have gotten they still aren't able to capture reality. Even the military admit this and their video game setups cost millions.

I understand that but in terms of painting a car, If I had posted that I wanted to paint a real BMW M3 GTR (however unlikely) and my friend was having problems picking out colors, I would be getting color sample suggestions instead of being berated for an unknown reason.

Excuse Me? I have done nothing wrong. Would you MIND explaining your reason?!??
