Diesel questions
I just placed an offer in to buy a 2011 335d for European Delivery. I own a 335i and was wondering if the 335 diesel has the same:
1. Lack of a dipstick 2. Oil filter located up on top of the engine 3. 7.0 quart oil capacity. Thanks in advance.

1. Diesel has a dipstick.
2. It is not (at least I don't recall it being so). 3. This is in the manual...checking on this one. (I lied, it's not there). If memory serves, it *is* 7 liters.

Thanks (for good news)
With the dip stick and the oil filter on top of the engine, I am back into the world of doing oil & filter changes myself. I used to use a suction pump to suck the oil out of the engine but with the elemination of the dip stick, I have been forced to have the oil changed by the dealer. I like to do it myself.
Thanks again.
