A blooming plant in my kitchen.

I've had the plant (name unknown) for a couple years and it went all last year without blooming. So I'm pretty excited to see it bloom this Spring.

Actually the snow lily name is a misnomer. It's actually a Arum family member (you can tell by the spadix modified leaf around the small flower cluster). It's related to skunk cabbage, taro & other house plants like Philodendron & Dieffenbachia. Don't chew on the leaves they contain needle-like crystals that cause intense irritation & may induce speechlessness (dumb-cane).

The Mrs. and I grabbed some P.F. Changs last night. They are always consistent with fresh ingredients and right out the wok yummy goodness. I had the Spicy Dan-Dan Noodles and we shared some pan-fried shrimp dumplings.

P.F. Changs serve crappy so called "Chinese food". You can find better Chinese restaurants.

Still impressed with PQ of my BB9700!

On the left is Stone Crab (only available from Oct. 15 - May 15) and the right is Alaskan King Claws. The Stone Crab is a delicacy, but I still like the flavor of the Alaskan King the best!!
