6mt or smg?
Hello, I'm starting to research on which m3 to get the 6mt or the smg? My drive to work is an hour long and a ot of times heavy traffic, I would really like to go with the smg but would like some opinions of it?

About 300 threads over the years.
![]() It is a personal choice. I prefer SMG, both in traffic and especially on the track.

6mt and I can never go back to an auto or smg. Shifting and clutching becomes second nature to you. It feels funny when I drive my wife's car because it's automatic. When I put my foot down I feel around with my foot and say "where is the clutch?

As second nature as you think it has become, the track will show you how much time and attention you use to shift.
![]() There is a reason that in every racing class that allows them, uses a paddle shift setup.

I would not own an out-of-warranty SMG-equipped car....

Eventual resale of the car will be easier with the smg. The ladies don't like sticks.

It's all a matter of preference. There is no good or bad answer on this. Follow your gut feeling.
