Very cool, but I wonder what that cost over and above regular individual pricing? Probably a boatload - that man really must like his koawood.

We brought a bunch of Koa back from Hawaii as a birthday present. We visited a lumber store in Honolulu were they tried very hard to sell us Koa furnature. It took about 45 minutes of patient discussion before they determined that we really knew what we wanted and finally showed us the lumber. I was concerned about our friends in the Department of Agriculture (ED content), but they said as long as there was no bark it was OK. My father said that it was miserable wood to work with. I imagine that the craftsmen at BMW had the same comments when they were making the M6 interior parts.

While I'm not sure which of the islands Mr. Carson calls home, and I haven't driven on all of them, there's precious little place to put the spurs to something like an M6 anywhere in Hawaii. Hope it got a good workout in Europe before the boat ride.

Near the end there was a shot of Honolulu and Diamond Head in the background. Must be Oahu. My guess is there is nowhere to stretch the legs of his M6. Very cool car.
