Got my delivery date!
Gang,
My CA emailed me yesterday and I got my preferred delivery date of 6/18 at 0910am! The countdown begins and since I've already made all of my reservations, hotels, Rolf pick-up, etc., my 15 year old son and I are ready for the adventure of a lifetime! I'll make sure I add the date to the calendar. Congrats! Have a great time. You're the opposite of me, I've had a date for about a month but have no reservations except for flights. Time to start planning.

Congrats! I don't know enough about BMWs yet to be able to tell from your configuration, but which car did you order?
And when did you submit your ED request? My salesman submitted it Tuesday, I think, so I am waiting. And waiting. And waiting.

Sorry, should have said it is a 2011 135i coupe. It took about a week to get my date, hang in there!

Yikes. Did you check every option box when you ordered it?
1-Series coupes are uncommon in Germany, especially a 135i, and an M-Sport. You will attract a bit of attention. One of the most difficult parts of your trip will be keeping the speed down until you thermal cycle the tires a few times and get some miles on the engine.

Yup, checked every option box except DCT transmission - I'm a manual junkie! Still managed to get about $6000 off from US MSRP so I'm happy
