What if your trip is postponed?

I want to do an ED in August. But it is difficult for me to predict my work schedule
this far ahead. If I miss my ED date, can I pick it up a little later , say within the next
4 weeks after the original ED date?

No. BMW would make an exception for a legitimate emergecy (major illness, for example) - period.

Mein Auto: E60 M5,
Since the car must be paid for before the scheduled pick up date, if you fail to appear at the appointed time without an exceptional excuse, your car will be donated to a homeless Bulgarian family along with a full tank of gas (something not available to you) and they will be sent back to their country of origin. This helps BMW meet their social responsibility of dealing with both the homeless and immigrant issues in Germany. The donation will however be made in your name so you may claim the deduction on your German taxes next year.

If you are not sure about the work schedule, don't try for Euro Delivery - it's not worth the hassle. If it's just about a few days, then engineer a buffer into your trip, spend a few days in Munich. Otherwise, US delivery is the way to go.
