F10 535i Dealers' Discount

I called up two bmw dealerships in Central Florida and one of them offered a 2% discount off the fully optioned sales price for pre-orders (while the other dealer did not offer any discount for pre-orders).

Did anyone get a better offer than a 2% discount or is this already a good deal??? The dealer said that the mark-up on the F10 is 6% only. Is this true or bs???

You should negotiate up from dealer invoice, not discount off retail list. For example... $1500 above dealer invoice might be a reasonable price for a order ahead of vehicles sitting on dealer lots.

Have you considered doing a European Delivery? Check the forums; our board sponsors will do a set price above invoice, (my guess for a new car would be $1000-$1500 over invoice, but I'm not a CA).

Being that you are from Florida, you could buy from our sponsor in Georgia, or even from one of the others and pick it up at the Performance Center in SC. I did a Euro Delivery + PC re-delivery, and both were amazing!

What is the invoice price of the new 5 seires 2011 535i?
