BMW News: Next Generation BMW 6 Series Coupe (F12) Finally Spied

If you've been following along with the spy news for the next generation 6 series you will have seen the spy shots of appears to be a new 6er with a soft top roof and heard the recent news that the M6 is getting axed.

Now we have the first spy shots of the next generation coupe! It almost looks like a folding hard top, but the size of the B pillars gives it away as a coupe. Not sure what those seams on the roof are, perhaps a removable or targa top?

Regardless of which way you order your next 6er we're expecting it to be hot! BMW North American CEO, Jim O'Donnell has called this new generation 6-series the "best looking BMW in years," and we're sure it will be!

Call me a jerk if I'm being one.... maybe i'm a little uneducated, but it looks kinda like the E90 # series coupe. . . maybe just a little longer. i dunno.

Also, just wanted to say I have seen one of these with the squigglies all over it on the Autobahn, on my way to Munich one weekend. It was the new 5er, and man, it's awesome to see that on the road, IN Bavaria. Very exciting. Actually just saw a brand new 5er yesterday in my small town, looks nice as hell!
