Thanks Gary , it sure looks like one finish in that pic . . .

In the pic below on one of the bimmerfest posters cars it looks like 2 finishes . . .

It is so strange, I guess it must be the angle

You see what I'm talking about ... (click on picture to enlarge it)

Hmmm... I like. How is weight of these wheels? Average? Heavy? Light-weight?

25.6 lbs. close to most BMW OE wheels, I think.

I do see how in the 2nd pic the finishes look different. I"m no photo pro, but I think one would need to take the photo at an angle an almost any wheel with straight edges to avoid this illusion. The bright silver finish makes taking an accurate photo even more difficult.

So with the 25.6lbs and I go with a Sumitomo HTR+ 225/45/17 which is about 23 lbs., I'd at 49 lbs. right ?

For the record my type 44 weighs in right about 25 lbs (edited)
Also is the Blizzak LM11 about 24 lbs ?

Still working on my own weight issue (will take another week or so, given the current situation in the San Diego area), but wanted to share the following site with you: www.wheelweights.net. Not comprehensive, but covers many popular wheels...sortable by size, weight, and manufacturer. Best I've seen so far. Leaning towards HRE forged wheels myself: beautiful, light...but spendy!
