It's there. It's on the driver's side under the car and under a plastic cover that will require you to remove about 4-5 screws. Take my advice on this one. Mark with a sharpie your in/out lines and don't get them crossed up.
good luck

Under the chassis, your Left Butt area.
Remove the Plastic Cover, you will see it. Take note, diagram, take pic so you don't mess it up. |

Thanks for your help. I got a few suggestions of where the fuel filter is located, and this one is from pelicanparts.com..I just don't want to pull the back seat out trying to locate the fuel filter.
jared Fenton from pelicanparts.com I'm pretty sure that the fuel filter is located in the fuel tank, integrated with the fuel pump. You would need to remove the rear lower seat to access the covers \. |

M5Board has a good DIY at http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e39...placement.html
The filter is slightly different, but process should be essentially the same. |
