ultimately get what ever makes you happy... if the 335xi is good enough, then stick with it...

also with the 650i if you did not reset the transmission for the test drive, it will feel slow/different...

test drive it again after resetting the tranny...

1. press start button but don't step on brake (car turns on but does not start)
2. step on gas pedal to the max beyond the limiter and hold for 45 seconds or longer..
3. start the engine and drive like you want to...

don't forget to engage the sport mode

the 650i is a bit aggressive/jerky in sport mode and low speeds, but will snap your neck back if that's what you're looking for....
Thanks for the tipjust pick up a mineral 06 vert yesterday gonna try that tip. I thought because i was use to my brother's clk 550 that i didnt feel as much torgue as his car in c mode and with the 650 in regular mode

Suspension on M6 is adjustable. It has 3 settings Sport, Normal and Comfort. As far as SMG I liked to give my opinions. I drive in the city with a lot of lights and stops signs. I thought when I first got the car I would use it in the "auto" mode. With the car doing the shifting it is jerky/harsh. I now only use it manuel mode. Without a foot operated clutch its not tiring and having control of the transmission is fun. With the high rpm redline sometimes it makes more sense to stay in a lower gear if turn or stop is approaching plus the car sounds better. With car shifting it doesn't no your next move. With your right arm on the center console your hand just falls right on to the stick.
Get the M6. My business partner has the 650i and I know he's jealous. Why settle for a lesser machine.

The only question I would have with those stats - `07 M6 + all options + 4600 odo = $55K - is what's wrong with that car? That's a fantastic price. Warranty too?

I for one will smoke an M6 any day......Nah just dreaming . Love the M6 and I would have settled for one if I was able to find one in a manual. SMG is great but just not my thing. I am a 3 pedal guy that loves to have total control over by drive train. 55K for 07 M6 with less than 5K miles is a great deal provided that nothing is wrong with the car. However, warranty is up on that car this year depending on the in service date. 55K is about the price you can get a CPO 08 650 for, which was one of the reason I decided on the peace of mind versus trying to eat up the Cross Bronx Express Way at 15 MPH with a 500 HP beast. Double check on the service history of that car.

LOL! Funny! Only time I really get to open my car up is when I'm on the NJ side or heading up state. NYC road sucks! yet this is one of the most expensive place to live.
