MM-S mounting question for Gary

Hi Gary,

I posted this question on another thread ( http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43090 )
but wanted to make sure you saw my new question.

Do I need to use the wheel studs/bolts that came with the new MM-S wheels/tires or can I also use my OEM ones? Other than the finish (black vs chrome) they look pretty much the same, slight differnces in depth.

Reason I ask is I just purchased the BMW locking wheel studs/bolts and they are black like the OEM bolts.

Thanks for the help with the wheels/tires. They look great.

Yes, thanks for posting in a new thread. Thats ususally a good call since I only get over to the forums a few times a day...much easier to find new questions

You are correct in that you may resuse the BMW locking lugs. Even the BMW bolts will work...we just think that the ones we send will look better .

Yes Master. lol.

Mounting on the car I think is going to wait until next weekend because I ordered some Klasse to wax the wheels plus I also figured I woudl buy the wheel pin (that should be in the car!!! Thanks BMW NA!...its was in my E36 M3... And that is on order, in next Wed, for a whopping $4.50! Plus we are pretty busy this weekend...and its supposed to be 76F!!!!!

They make great cars, but have such wacky marketing and packaging for the US Market... Bring me BMW Individual!!!! PLEASE!!! Why can't we order cars like they do in Europe, Canada, etc??
But I digress.

Sure, I will weight them..I have a bathroom scale that should work. Give me a few min.

Wow . . .thats really good !!!

I wonder if its the wheels or the tires that are on the lighter side . . . you should get a small increase in acceleration with these wheels in comparison to your ZHP wheels !!!
