About to create a full 5 Series Bluetooth DIY....

I need anyone in North Texas who is considering the Bluetooth installation for their 5 series. I want to build a full detail DIY document to help others in the future.

You can view my current 3-series DIY at: http://www.golilm.com/DIY/Bluetooth

If anyone's interested please contact me at adam@golilm.com

I'll be happy to perform the full install at no charge and take photos along the way. I also have a friend at a BMW dealer here who will do the Bluetooth ULF activation for us when we're done.

Take care,
Adam Hicks

Adam - I'm nowhere near Texas, but I would be interested in a Bluetooth DIY for a 530i. I was actually going to use your 3 series DIY and wing the differences. A 5er-specific version would be terrific.

Thanks - Sam

Now that Verizon Wireless and Motorola have FINALLY announced Bluetooth, I, too, would be willing to be a guinea pig for a 530i installation. However, I live near Washington, DC. I have several questions. The first one being, "will the Bluetooth install also allow me to give voice commands to my Nav system?" The manual interface on the Nav is awkward at best, and dangerous. I would like to get a Motorola 710 Bluetooth and Voice commands for Nav all working at once. Any suggestions?
