its a custom axle back exhaust but i jus recently removed the back resonator soon im gna get an xpipe and replace it with the remaining 2 resonators

If I understand you right, you removed the muffler in section 2?

I am also considering this or will possible be removing the mid-section muffler and also removing the 2 resonators and doing an x-pipe; but either wayI will be keeping my stock mufflers.

What mufflers are you using?

talked to my guy today. he is going to replace everything in front of the stock 2 resonators. take out the dual resonator and replace it with a magnaflow x-pipe. then replace the pipping with 2 1/4" pipes and replace the two mufflers with magnaflow mufflers with new tips for $700. do u guys think 2 1/4" is big enough pipping? or should i go bigger? i dont want it loud but i do want a deep rumble.

my mufflers are custom and the muffler shop does a really good job its in southern california tho and the 6er has 3 resonators one right before the mufflers and a dual one in the mid section i have the one before the mufflers removed and replaced with dual pipes however i still have the midsection dual resonators and soon i want to remove that and place a custom xpipe from which m guy does custom as well i heard the magnaflow one is very good but i dont want it giving off a muscle car sound so idk what im going to do yet

but if you guys want the mufflers i can talk to my guy and get a good deal on it and have it be shipped to you guys and you guys can get it installed at your local shop just pm me on how and what you guys want i can get a really good deal for it

im thinking of just puttin g the mufflers on and leavin the resonators as well...video one sounds deep and clean.

i dont understand what u mean by pictures? u mean under the car? cuz the pictue i have on my sig its not stock muffler tips i just didnt want to cut the bumper so i got something bigger then stock but it fit in the cut

i ment i was just gonna look down there...get me the price on both exhaust tho..im interested. Thanks

both as in the magnaflow and the custom?

no just the custom one just like the one you have on now. Sorry if im confusing you.

Sorry to be dumb, but let me get this straight. You removed the resonators and replaced the stock muflers with some custom ones and got aftermarket exhaust tips, am I correct sofar?
Can you ask your shop the brand of the mufflers, were they welded on or slip on, how much for your whole system? Did they have to bend new pipping?

Sounds great. Which shop in so cal? I'm in so cal so i might be interested in getting that set up.

I guess Im the minority here. I dont like it at all. It's too loud and raspy sounding.

i only removed the rear resonator i still have the midsection ones and the mufflers are "exclusive from the shop" as my guy says they are welded and the piping is new but only from the axle back and the pricing if you guys are interested just pm me and ill get back to u guys with the best deal i can

Video 2 sounds the best to me. I also doubt they are making mufflers from scratch. "Exclusive" just means they don't want people to know which mufflers they are using since it would probably be cheaper to just by them and go to a local muffler shop and have them installed.

Sounds like Magnaflow mufflers to me. They have an audio clip on their website of a 6 series with Magnaflow mufflers and they sound very similar to me.

i agree with you. the first video sounded a lot better, it was a deeper rumble. the second video it is too loud and sounds like a mustang or something like that.
