ipod Intergration

Does anyone know where I can get the ipod intergration for the 6 series? Everytime I check with the dealer they tell me they are on back order. I have a 2005 645 vert. Tired of my center console being filled with freaking Cd's Also I have an Iphone, is there any way this can be put in the Console because I don't want to have to keep my phone in the glove box. I need to clean it out as well.

Here it is on ebay. It's about what I paid for mine a few years ago. There's still (most likely) programming your dealer will need to do. Probably a few more Benjamins to finish the project off. Well worth it, IMHO.

I just purchased one there over-the-counter and am having it installed as I write this.
I would imagine that they would be able to mail it to you.
When I went to pick mine up they asked for the vin number, not just year and model and whether or not I had a CD Changer, I'm not sure but they seem to be vehicle specific so make sure you are getting the right one on eBay if you go that route

I've got a dension 500 with the bluetooth adaptor fitted into mine - works fantastically. I've been meaning to start a new post detailing how it works, will hopefully put it up with pics this week.

I have the OEM MOST adapter. I'm wondering if the Denison provides any add'l user experience features while playing songs? For example, I have the different "CDs" - each one representing a different indexing (song title, artist, album) but there's no way to, say, select a song that's playing in the A-Z list of songs and tell it to play more songs from this artist or album, etc.

Does the Denison have any features like this?

I installed myself - real easy.

I got an ipod adapter, installed and - nothing. I can't click CD1, CD2, etc. when I scrol over it. Do I need to reprogramm the IDrive or something? I di have a newest version of IDrive though. Any Ideas?

Dealership needs to program the iDrive - like $300.

I just had mine installed and programed... Everything works like a champ...
$255 for the install and program, so I would think the program would be cheaper...
