New Sunroof Lubrication

I am picking up a new sunroof from Tischer tomorrow. Should I lubricate it? What should I use for the tracks? For the snake? Thanks.

When I needed to lube my sunroof tracks, I called my service center and spoke to one of the techs, and he said they use Tri-Flow. That is what I used, and it worked great.

Since the whole assembly is inevitably exposed to dust whenever opened, I would say a quality brand of the so called "dry" Teflon-based lubricants. When the carrier evaporates, they leave a protective, lubricating and non-dust-attracting film.

Did mine (lube'ing the tracks & stuff, that is) after the atypical January rains we got this year and it is now much quieter when opening or closing.
