2011 X5 35d financing

I've been shopping around for available financing for my 35d purchase. what rates have people received from BMW? The website isn't much help since they are only providing offers on 2010 models. I think the best they were offering before on the 35d was 5.9% but wanted to see if anyone has locked in better rates.

Some people posted they got good rates through Bank of America. 2.89-2.99ish for 60 months. Here is the link.

I've got mine pre-approved from BOA - 2.91%, you get a small .2% reduction if you go through a preferred BOA dealer, which I did.

Did the whole process online.

I think BOA has the lowest rate now (somewhere between 2.9 and 3.6 depending on the state). I used them...everything went fine and the rate was low.

I had to ask about the 'preferred dealer' to get the .2 discount(waiving off the $200 loan fee).

Thanks for the feedback. I saw on bankrate.com that BOFA had the lowest rate so it looks like that's confirmed through everyone else's experience as well. How do you know if your dealer is a "preferred BOFA dealer"?

BOFA has a list, the bank rep asked for the dealership's name and told me mine is a preferred dealer.

Edit: Found the answer to this question on BOFA's site:

http://www.bankofamerica.com/vehicle...ate=faq_auto#9

Dealer locator: http://bankofamerica.via.infonow.net...r/NewSearch.do

Great information. You can't beat 2.91%.
