Differential Swap DIY Videos

These videos are not a perfect step by step (cause, hey, I work alone most times and I can't video and work at the same time), but they do give pointers, tips, and some important stuff. Mostly, they just show how easy this stuff is to do. More tomorrow with the bushing fight!

Ok new diff and bushing are in. What a JOKE! everyone says they are so hard to do, NOT! I just air chiseled the old one out, and hammered the new one in. DONE! No clunk, no noise, just lower cruising RPM and a fine feeling of having a proper BMW again. I shot two limited videos that I will post up later, sorry, I couldn't find a cameraman!

Nice job! I think my rear diff. bushing is in a similar shape. The clunking noise in your video was very familiar.

I've been reading about the diff. swap and it had me wanting to change. Now that I see people opting to go back to stock I think I'll leave mine as it is
