As much as I loved the Polo Club last year, I think the Rose Bowl will be an improvement. Next year we could rent the golf course there, and everyone will be able to park on grass again...

At the very least, they're not likely to commit to a date, then back out months later leaving you high and dry and swinging in the wind. I am glad to hear this year is already proving the numbers for the golf course rental

Jon.... I'm a noob to Bimmerfest, so if I'm beating the dead horse here, I apologize; but there seems to be a lot of desire to be at/near the beach with this group. I attended an event (Scottish Games) last October at the Ventura Fair Grounds, and there was a ton of parking, albeit paved. Considering you don't even know the response to the Rose Bowl venue, is it even an option for future 'fests' in order to get it back in the same vicinity?

I just registered... I haven't been able to make it in a couple years, but I'm looking forward to a return to Bimmerfest in 2010! I'm happy to say the I still have the 'ol Bimmer, and she still runs like a dream. I'm was a bit surprised to see the move to Pasadena... but it is a lot closer to home for sure! Although, no weekend at Solimar this year I guess.
