Attended Bimmerfest in 2000, 2001, or 2002?

Curious to see how many of the earliest Bimmerfest attendees are going to 2010's event.

This will be my first Bimmerfest since 2002. Looking forward to seeing some of my old pals.

Sorry Marcus, found out about Bimmerfest in 04', after the 04' fest, so my first was in 05'.

Heya, Bruin. No worries. I'd be surprised if more than 10% of the early participants were still attending Bimmerfest.

I went to one that was at a dealership/parking lot in SB when I was like 16 or 17 or so I think?. Than the next one I went to was at Earl warren show grounds. I've been to about 6.

Very nice. I haven't seen Chris and Bill in ages. And fat boy, haven't seen him in ages either but he and I hit each other up on PMs every now and then.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I believe that Bimmerfest was hosted at Cutter Motors from 2000-2003. In 2004, the event moved to the fairgrounds.

Thus, you likely attended the 2003 event at Cutter and then your second event was at the fairgrounds, in 2004.

Well, we did return to the dealership which had by then become Santa Barbara BMW / SBAG for one last hurrah in 2005.
It was simply overwhelming (the number of vehicles), so then we went back to EW 2006-2008.

I think my first year was '01 or '02. Jon, what year was it?!

I have been to every one since.

I am hoping I'll see Jeff there w/ the Z3. He has got my smokes and I need my supplier

I've been going since about 2003 I think. I was too young to drive back then (only 14) I was working at my dads shop when I saw a puff of smoke drive by. me and my brother went to go see what it was, and it was a young Asian guy who had what I think was a e46 M3 stopped down the street with his hood popped and a lot of smoke coming out. I asked what was up and apperantly he broke his coolant resv. cap. he asked if my dad's shop had one and we ended up finding one at a friends shop and he told us to go to the meet. I was hooked ever since. I never found out who that guy was....

...Markus, I think he's talking about the e21. I haven't had the M3 INSIDE Bimmerfest since '03. Josie brought it up in '08 since her car was still under the knife at the time (butt surgery to reinforce the chassis), but she left it at the hotel and rode with me in the e21.

...I'm not sure if Jon remembers my e30 M3...

Dude, I do not think that I've seen the E21. You driving that up on Saturday?

I've been to all except last years since 2002... E30 M3 everytime and my M-Technic Vert Turbo a few times aswell.. I'll be there in my M3 again this year.
