1995 740i stop engine oil pressure low warning

This warining popped up this morning after braking suddenly. The low oil light did not come on just this warining. The warning went off 30 seconds later and did not come back on

i particularly remember that happening with my old honda when the oil level was low. check the oil level? if not a condition of low oil level, might check have the oil pressure sensor/s checked out making sure the connector isnt broken or incorrectly attached.

Its probably the bolts that hold the oil pump on. In the 1995 year especially these are known to fail. Open it up and tighten those bolts!

need to change oil or add oil it need 7.9 Quarts of oil so hope that helps buddy

That happen to me and then the motor went the timming chain got loose while i was driving and was clicking loud as hell
