Pearl Bliss * Delivered *

This car actually replaced "Pearl Bliss", my Maxima. It's been a very long journey as the car was actually ordered in Feb. The new build cycle, CARB issues and the disgusting seat module campaign all made this delivery less than it could be.

Nonetheless, the X5 visually surprised me in a couple of areas.
The Cinn Brown leather is probably 3 shades darker that I had anticipated after seeing saddle brown. It's not a negative, just a different look. Leather feels great too.
The AW looks great and will look even better once I get some tint on that biotch!
Style 335 rims impressed even more in person. The 19's didn't come out too small and they look more aggressive in person. I do like the looks of the 336's, but the cost of 315 rear tires, added weight and them only coming with summer tires turned me off.
Top View and all the electronics are cool. Glad I got all those toys!
The lack of LED and refreshed headlights the rest of the world gets is a final downer.
Will be de-badging, tinting and clear bra'ing post haste.

Congrats. Now hardwire that RD!

A

PS I have saddle... like both, Cinn and Saddle. Cinn is more masculine, IMHO.

V1 is borrowed from M3, which is hardwired. Got a 9500ix with hardwire coming Fri.

Oh yeah, looking very sharp. I ordered AW with the 335's as well. Real clean looking. Makes you feel like it's your birthday to drive off the lot with that. Like that other Pinto in the garage also. Didn't get the 336 rims because of weight, drag, and thought they might spray more debris on panels but I must admit they do look good. If that's the sport package you have, how do you like the sport steering wheel? I ordered it as well but had some after thought as it seemed rather fat in my hands.

Yeah, I like the clean lines of the car as well.
It is SAV and I think the steering wheel looks and feels better than the original one. I drive an M3, so no steering wheels feels too fat in my hands.
This wheel is noticeably smaller to me, but I think it's a must have over the original.

Congrats on the car. Nice colors and nice car ... picking up mine this Friday. It wasn't as long a wait for me (ordered Apr 04), still painful mostly due to lack of information on what the delay was all about. Now all that is almost over.

Great looking X5! Love the interior.

I have X5D alpine white with tobacco brown leather(on order). My dealer didn't have this combination in their inventory. I will be happy if my interior would come close to yours. Any interior color should work well with white car.

Note: I have a alpine white with black (M5) and alpine white with dream red (Z4).

Great color combination. Looking to order the same. Did you include the sports package? I ask because my wife does not want a dark headliner - thinks it will darken the cabin too much once we tint the windows.

Nice pics. I ordered the same color combination with light polar wood trim. Hopefully it will turn out as good as your.

Epacy, Congrats on the X, and great pics! I picked up the same combo yesterday. I think this vehicle is superb. As Weston has indicated, the engine, the handling, the comfort, fit/finish, and technology are first class. I couldn't be happier (for my wife ).

Your pictures of the Cinnamon interior are good. When I saw some that were posted earlier, I was worried that it was going to be too Orange. It is not at all. It is a very rich brown, that goes great with the AW.

I won't be repetitive with the pics, but wanted to include one from our "first day with the new car". To those still waiting: It is abosultely worth the wait. Hang in there!

Thanks.

Wood is dark burl. Options are AW, CB, ZTP, ZPP, SAV, iPod/USB, Heated Front Seats. I think that's it.

Have tint and clear bra on the vehicle now.

Which maker of clear bra did you choose and did you do the entire hood? I was thinking all front, all hood, mirrors, "A" pillows and about six in. above windshield.

The clear bra is 3M and I didn't do the entire hood. Didnt really feel there was a need to.
