We started at around the same time. You lost 14lbs. I gained 12. I am not down to +10. 10 more to go... LOL

What did you have at Dinosaur? We have one in NYC that I visited twice. Had the burger and the wings.

Update: Applied to a job tonight and also had a friend of mine put me down as a referral over there. Hoping it works out since it would cut my commute time down from 45 minutes to about 10 minutes.

Started off with a shared plate of fried green tomatoes. Then had the ribs and brisket combo with cole slaw and the tomato and cucumber salad.

I've eaten at the one across from Fairway several times. It's not as good as the ones in Syracuse and Rochester. The one in NYC seems "Disneyfied", like what you'd find at Epcot. The ones in western NY have a much more biker bar feel. There's a new one in Troy, NY. I'm out of kids in college, so I may never get to try that one. One kid went to Syracuse, the next to University of Rochester, and the third to Barnard. 3 kids, and a Dinosaur in each of their college locations. Could I get any luckier?

Yeah, that's the one I went to. I went shopping at Fairway and stepped into Dinosaur. I can't remember if I had the fried green tomatoes. I think I did, but obviously it didn't leave a strong impression on me. What? You get like 3 thick slices?? Meh.

But I was eying the ribs and brisket combo. It's on my next time to-do list. Should I?

yeah, but remember what I said...the food isn't quite as good in NYC as in the other joints. The food in NYC tastes like it was automatically prepared compared with the older places. That said, the brisket and ribs combo is still good, even in NYC. Maybe I should meet you there sometime. We could "do lunch". Do you live in Manhattan?

I live in Queens. This 10-13 miles drive is about an hour to an hour and a half driving time with all that mid-day traffic. Send me a PM when you go next time. Who knows, maybe I will.

It's a gorgeous day here today, 80 degrees today. Went for a nice hike at South Mountain this afternoon.
