thanks. It just wasnt the right person, place, time, etc I guess. (doesn't exactly make it easier, but long term It hink it helps to understand/see it what way...) When they kept looking at the ultrasound funny, I knew something was wrong. ...It was only a 4/5 week embryo, and should have been closer to 8 weeks and a little fetus...not a just a sac. apparently this is one of the more/most common forms of miscarriage. ...at least that's what I gather... Everything happens for a reason.

Thats terrible. But all things happen for a reason, or atleast I keep thinking that.

Update: How does one go looking for an M3 come home with a Ferrari F430?

Sorry to hear, Sandy. As you said everything happens for a reason and sometimes things in life are just not meant to be. Hang in there! :hugs:

So can you do side jobs with your job now and work every weekend?

Are you going to end up owning the company you work for now, and pay forward?

Quote:
I was asked what I do I have not given an answer yet.. not because Im ashamed but I hope the younger crowd listens and hears me..
It all about Hard work.. yes there are those with a silver spoon but not me .. the silver spoon is few and far between..

I own a construction Co.
but the story..

I ran track in HS was pretty damn good, I decided not to go to college and even gave up some financial incentives to go .. ( maybe not a wise choice but did)..
the day after HS Grad. I flew to Alaska to build a house and really learn a trade I worked my ass off and Stayed until cold weather came.

I went back to NJ, decided that i was still around all HS buddies and realized this was a dead end.. ( good choice)

I came to NC started with the company that i own now, in 1984 my starting pay was 4.25 /hr. basically a laborer, i decided i was going to be the best laborer there and become a carpenter. worked my way up became lead carpenter... i worked every weekend i could ebery side job i could do... ( trades people make a lot of side money)
I Became a foreman, with all my side money i bought my first house at 23, renovated it of course missed out on a lot of parties ect. but was worth it . sold and made some money!... kept working and buying and selling buildings ect ... risked a lot.. worked hard...
became partner in the company.. then i really worked my ass off 24/7! my partner decided to retire and i bought the company... ok 27 years later i still work hard /...
most of the guys in my company have been with me for 10 yrs or longer...! I just hired a kid 20 yrs old seams like a good kid hard worer... hopefully I can groom him to a successful, happy life..

The Key is hard work good attitude love what you do... treat people well ...

dont forget where you came from and pay it forward..

save and Invest in sound investments... No one will help you ...

I wish you all well

Matt

Good find! I didnt bother to go back after seeing he went for an M3 and came home with a ferrari. Weirdo.

The M3 is ****ing awesome! Its fast as ****. Its also an attention getter too. Had 2 45-50 year old dudes talk about the car outside the steakhouse before my wife and I walked up to it this evening.

That's why I prefer a b20 civic, I would have had two 21-22 year old chicks talkin about how sweet it is

UPDATE: In our district playoffs last night my sons team took out the team that George Steinbrenner built, a HUGE 13-6 win over Palma Ceia

OK OK, I know Steinbrenner didn't build the team, he only had the concession stand rebuilt. And what a concession stand it is
