My teenage daughter is now driving my old, trusty 533 after I saved it for her for a number of years (it has been "lightly" used for the past 5+ years while she became old enough). Everything seems to be ok on the car (after a little work) excpet for the trunk. I cannot get the trunk open. It seems as though it will not unlock. The locking system works for the doors, and I've tried to un;ock the truck MANY times by using both the trunk key and the door key. Nothing seems to allow me to budge the trunk. Again, the door locks all function ok (lock and unlock from both the door and trunk lock). I need to get into the trunk!
Any ideas would be appreciated. Lew |

Have you tried having someone pull up on the sides the same time that you push the lock in? I just had this problem and after I got it open I hit he back of the truck with a rubber mallet. It took care of the problem. My problem was that a dumb bitch hit me in the rear causing my trunk to shift forward by very little, but enough to make My trunk stick.
