Stock, Located or Ordered

I can't get the MCS Convert I really want. One important option is missing on the Mini's available that I do not want to compromise. And the Mini's have to be Located...which is something I'm slightly uncomfortable doing. I prefer to see a Mini on the lot or showroom that I can look at without being obligated. So, just curious how yours was obtained. Ordered, Located or from stock. Thanks, Frank

Have you tried Autotrader and cars.com? Many sites will list their new vehicles on there for you...

I used it to locate mine...I did not special order it.

I think I looked at every Mini dealer on the East Coast (and more) using the Mini Locator.

what's the missing option? And if you sit in one, it's the same you'll get when ordering. You are NOT obligated to purchase the ordered MINI if it comes in and you don't like it. (at least in several states, not sure about where you are).

I have no objection to ordering. Just don't want to wait. I might...but do not want to for several reasons. That would work out fine if I do. I do not want to take a Located. I had 2 bad experiences with other Manufacturers. I would definitely take from stock or the showroom floor if it checked out. The dealer I have been working with will obligate me to take a Located Mini. I would not accept it if it had a reasonable problem. (nicks, dings, damaged glass.... I've been through this) I want to see & drive before signing or giving a deposit.
