NAV and A/C problems

Hello, guys. I am at my wits end on my beautiful 2001 740i sport. first, the leaks did my nav in. then it was replaced with a used unit, and thecar thinks it's in connecticut, but it is really in virginia. The shop has replaced x3 without success.

Now the Main resister is failed. the blower won't operate except at full, the ac doesn't blow cold. They are quoting $1000. Anybody had similar problems?

Someone may know more but this sounds like your A/C controls are damaged. If your systems has pressure which can be tested under the hood then I would bet money your electronics are shot and you will need the climate control panel replaced.
