535i pricing
Hello,
Crevier BMW is offering me a 535i at half way between Invoice and MSRP. How does this compare with some of the deals you have seen for the F10? Thanks. |

Wow! $750 over Invoice??? Anyone else got that kind of deal? Currently, I'm getting $1,800 over Invoice. Am I being robbed? ;-)

People will be quick to say that you should be able to negotiate better. Whether or not they could do so themselves remains open. . . .

I'm fed up with my local dealer who says no discount off list won't even discuss until August because he's sold out until then.....That's rediculous and I wished him well, and signed the papers today on an Infiniti M37 for $10K less. I like BMW's...I've owned three, but there is a limit to what it's worth.

You should do Euro Delivery and you can get the F10 for approximately 11 percent off of US MSRP.

IT'S WORTH AS MUCH AS PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR THEM. ITS ALMOST LIKE A TAG AND A ROLEX, BOTH ARE STEEL WATCHES IN THE END. |

I had a dealer show me incoming inventory for the X5 35d, and there were about 15 in the western US. In contrast, he showed the 5-series, and there were well over 200.
Wait a month or two, and there should be plenty to choose from at $1000 over invoice.

For the 535i, Premium 2 includes premium 1. You can order Premium 1 without 2, but not the other way around.
The 550i, there is no P1 because those things are standard. |

Actually, no. ZP2 is on top of ZPP. In other words, you can get ZPP-only, or ZPP-and-ZP2. So, if you want ZP2, you have to choose and pay for both ZPP and ZP2.

That's what you may have meant, but I didn't think so.
"Premium 2 includes premium 1" This implies that ZPP is PART of ZP2, which isn't the case. Maybe I splitting hairs, but ZPP and ZP2 are bought separately, but the prerequisite for ZP2 is ZPP.

Dealers in the Bay Area and LA and San Diego are offering me just $1000 off MSRP. That's about $3400 over invoice! This is their starting offer andxi haven't tried to talk them down yet. Is this what others are seeing? Are you able to get them down more? I'd be willing to order from anyone (and wait for delivery if that makes a difference).

I found a nice site to see what other are paying for a 535i, options and all. Amex hosts it.
http://amexnetwork.zag.com/main.html Specify 2011, 535i, any/all options you want, then press "click here to see what others really paid". It gives you options to show a sales history and distribution of prices by local area, region, and nationally. Selling Price of 535i has been increasing slightly, while 550i has been dropping. It will tell you what kind of deal you are getting. You get to see not only invoice, but dealer cost which is actually lower. Nifty link. 528i doesn;t work yet since there are so few sales, but the 535i has some data in it. |
