Sorry for the picture quality, I'm an amateur and it's kind of a gross day here!

very fantastic, much gooder!

visually just like mine, minus the anthracite headliner, 21" rims, fat 315 tires, & silver trim on the steering wheel.

post BIGGER pictures!

woowoo Ravens fan too huh?

Did you transfer your tags from your trade-in?

MD has new horrendous looking "war of 1812" commemorative plates coming out and I'm probably getting that by default....it's fugly.

The Ravens tags were transfers from my prior X, as you can probably tell by their beat-up conditions. I haven't seen the 1812 tags yet, but will take a look...

The neighbors think I've lost my mind since I was outside washing it in the rain this morning. The dealers detailers sprayed crappy tire dressing everywhere and I had to use some Meguire's Gold to wash it all off. Tomorrow will be wheel sealing day using Black Fire Wet Diamond.

Oh my God - I bet you are completely right! That had not occurred to me, but my neighbors aren't BMW types so I bet you are VERY correct. Funny.

Hey Shelley I noticed your 35i came with Titanium Grill. Did you swap it out or did it come that way? I thought the 35i typically came with the grill that has chrome outline and black slats...

Thanks.

You are correct, I swapped them out with the Titanium that I purchased and used on my previous X. I just like the look better.... and I can always go back to the black if I want. It's a quick swap.

Ah shoot, I got my hopes up that they were including Titanium Grill now...

I like it a lot better too. Guess I'm destined to pay $300 on eBay for a Titanium Kidney...

I got the Dealer to sell me the originals at cost and I don't remember them being ridiculous. You could ask your person, maybe they can get you a deal. I took pictures both ways, and the black grills really do look nice also. I was pretty torn about what to do, but thought I would go Titanium for a while.

Dudes, those are not titanium, they are plastic, painted in titanium. Why spend $300 when you can buy some spray paint for a few bucks?

Hmmmm good idea, I was trying to find them on one of the BMW parts websites but no luck. I can't even find the P/N for them. None the less good idea to ask.

Hey I like the way you think. Any recommendation on paint color or brand? With my luck they will come out looking shiny silver and cheez-ify my ride.

Dudette here. I'm not painting anything. The color is actually embedded in the plastic so it doesn't chip etc. I'm fine with that.

Looks great. I love the color combo for my wife's next X5, but for some reason I think that Oyster with 2 young boys and a 65 pound Labradoodle is not such a good idea.
