Service Indicator Symbol Meaning?

Does anyone know what service indicator symbol that has a car on a lift mean & what service is required? I have an 06 325xi without i-drive.

You can check and see what needs to be done via the dial on the indicator stalk. When the vehicle is stationary, toggle up/down until you see "Service", then hit the BC button. The most urgent one will be displayed first, followed by others in the order in which they are due (assuming you toggle up with the dial).

Likely, your vehicle is due for vehicle Inspection.

Also, on my '07, the motor must be idling to get the OBC service readouts.

the symbol with car on lift is due at 26k miles my ODO reads 24600. Just want to know what that service entails so that I know what has to be done. My car is no longer under maintenance plan as it has past 4 years & I will be taking it to an Indy shop.

After 50,000 miles that symbol changes to "$$$"

The service requirements are listed in the Service & Warranty booklet.
