LED Halo install & comparison + DIY

Just installed my new LED halos from e92. PROPS to e92 for fast shipping and so far an incredible product. It looks like to me my passenger side halos are slightly less bright. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I could just be high... who knows...

PS anyone whose going to try this, make sure if you get them installed by someone else not to pay more than $50 or $60. My local automotive shop told me in order to install the lights they would ahve to take the entire bumper off and remove the headlight...for $250. NOT TRUE DIY.

Noone helped me find this writeup, i searched for hrs not knowing what keywords to put in. So if anyone needs it here ya go!

How long did it take to install both bulbs? The facelift 6 is with h7 bulbs now so I doubt this application would fit

Question

How long did it take you? Is it just a bulb change?

Ten minutes max...easy if you follow link above...I have large mits so it was a little harder but no big deal. HUGE difference. Love the look of the whiter, brighter Angel Eyes. Best mod I have done for $50.

I had the same issue and wasn't stoned....lol, got them fitted at a car show, free fitting as it only takes max 10minutes.... A bit fiddly to fit but anyone can do it..... Also bought the fog bulbs and number plate bulb which il do it my self..... Lights are brighter but not much to my liking, I would like I a bit more. But more so, I wanted to brighten up the rings, does anyone know how to do them?

I feel ya. I wish mine were brighter too. Unfortunately, until the 2008 models, the halo fiber optic cables are lit by a single focal point (H7 bulb) unlike the 2008+ models which use two focal points with a H8 bulb. So the newer models are basically twice as bright. See below pic:

Go to the E92 website. Type in angel eyes and click on one of the lights at the bottom of the page. You will find complete directions for the installation. They are doing it by removing the inner fender well and working from the bottom. You should be able to reach down from the top and accomplish the same thing since you can now see what the objective is.
