Cashmere Silver Metallic: GT vs sedan
When I dropped off my Cashmere Silver Metallic 535i in Munich at the shipping office, I parked next to a new 550 GT which was being turned in, also painted Cashmere Silver Metallic. The GT paint had a gold hue while my car was closer to taupe. Side by side, the difference was obvious. Anyone know how the color can be different on two similar cars made at nearly the same time? Is the GT made at a different factory?

I don't believe that Cashmere Silver is a color choice for the GT. You might have been looking at Orion Silver on the GT.
