1979 320i For Sale
Bought it from my uncle, used as a daily driver for a couple of years. I unfortunately just don't have the time or space to work on it any more, and it would need much more TLC than I have to give. Typical starving college student story. Would be great for anyone looking for a big project or lots of decent parts for their own project.
~130K miles Rust around the windshield and in a few other spots, water leaks into the interior, trans pops out of 3rd gear (but this may be a linkage adjustment problem?--started when I put new linkage bushings and stuff in). A few oil leaks and other typical older-vehicle 'stuff'. Has a number of good points--Recaro seats, rims, lots of new parts: Brake pressure regulator, Master cylinder, Clutch slave cylinder, Wheel cylinders, Radiator, "Air mass meter boot," Trans linkage stuff, Front end bushings, a number of other small things that I'm probably forgetting. Interested in seeing what I might be able to get for it, and as an added bonus, have it go to people who deal with and appreciate these cars specifically. I'm in Southern California now (Upland, CA), but I happen to be making a trip up through the Sacramento area in a couple of weeks--If there is anyone definitely interested in it in the northern part of the state, and if the stars align, I may be able to drive or trailer it up there then. I've gotta get rid of it ASAP, because it is currently being stored at my folks' place, and has overstayed it's welcome there...gotta make room for a remodel there starting very, very soon. If you are interested, please PM me! I'd also appreciate any other tips about where to find people who may be interested in it. Asking $500 Thanks for looking, Daren ****More Pictures in "My Garage" http://garage.bimmerfest.com/user.ph...er&UrId=199118 **** Last edited by dStaud; 07-15-2010 at 11:55 AM. Reason: adding image |

another 320i for sale
I have a 1977 320i I am using for autocross. Want to finish season with it and possibly sell this winter. I am in Va. Bch. The car has Ireland Engineering strut plates and coil over kit on new Bilsteins. Has a stress bar from Bavarian Autosports up front. The motor is out of 71 2002, has a competition cam, Webber carb, and a header. Have a rear BMW sport sway bar for it and some customized stock wheels widened for slicks. The wheels on the car are 15 inch with street tires. The interior is stock and has no tears in the interior. Original Blaupunk (sorry can't spell that one) stereo. The car is very dependable and competitive. I was 4th novice last year overall out of 77 drivers with the 320, and she was only beat by some late model fuel injected cars on stickier tires. So, I have about 5K in the car and need to get about $3500 for my next project. Anyone interested - let me know: gworcester1@cox.net. I can send a hi-res picture via e-mail from there. Thank you.
