Perfomance Exhaust

I am looking to upgrade my exhaust of my 2002 M3. Looking quite few of manufacturers any advice very helpful.

The sound clips avalible on the web are difficult to judge. I want something with no bounding, and no roar. Just good tenor rasp. The bounding, bellowing, roar gets old quickly. I am assuming you are considering an aftermarket free flow. A full headered exhaust is quite the investment. A catback choice is an affordable alternative. What exactly are you interested in. So far I'm sided with the Eisleman cat back.

Do they really do anything for performance. I have seen a few on m3s and they sound terrible. Do you gain any performance for the poor sound? I added a remus to my e30. I wanted stainless steel to survive the winters. It has survived, no performance gain and just sounds louder.

HPF has a couple that looked pretty good. You are going to spend about $1200. They boast 12WHP.

I have the Borla and like it. Not too loud, but sounds very good when you get on it.

the borla is def the best option, but the dinans are a little cheaper
