528e stalls

I have 1986 BMW528e this morning I Turn the ignition on and starter runs for a long time and it will not start. I waited 5 minutes then i started again. then it started and I drove continuously for about half an hour after I parked the car. I turned on the ignition again
and it stalled again ?? and that happens every time I try to start the car. any help will be appreciated

Any number of things. What kind of maintainance has been done, ie: plugs, cap, rotor, wires, fuel filter, etc. Cold start valve, maybe (mine doesn't have one)? IAC valve dirty or malfunctioning? Dirty Air Flow Sensor or throttle body? Check your plugs first. See if it's getting gas. Maybe your fuel pump is going bad?
