2011 X5D door creaking from driver side...

Does anyone experiencing creaking noise on your X5 in general? It sounds like originated from door seal or something but it only happens when I'm turing or stop and go traffic.

At cruising speed it's not as nearly as bad as when I'm getting in and out of the tightly spaced parking lots or local driving in general. I thought about applying thin layer of grease or something around the rubber seal around the door as well as the seals on the body side but not sure if this will fix it or even make thing even worse.

Thanks and your help is appreciated..

My passenger door was creaking the other day, I just wiped down the door gaskets with a wet cloth and the creaking stopped. I have heard of "lubricants" that you can put on gaskets but found that water works just fine. Maybe someone else can comment on other possibilities.

A little silicone spray on a rag and wipe the door gaskets should help. You can get some at an autoparts box.

It makes the gaskets on my 23 year-old E28 quiet!
