Looking for a winter DD - what do you all drive?

Been looking at some e90 ix's for the winter months up here as I just can't bring myself to drive the 650 over the winter - what do you all drive?

Used to have a P38 Range Rover HSE - LOVED it except it was even more of an electrical disaster than any BMW I have had -- I replaced the heater core in my rover and I NEVER want to do that again...

I grew to despise the sound that it makes when there is a check control message -- i.e. "bonnet is open" or "coolant low"... But - I have to admit they do look great and in the snow they are sweet as well...

I do a lot of road trips back to Boston so I was looking at the 328ix for it's relatively good gas mileage and from I have been able to tell they have also been pretty reliable so far.

if its dry, ill drive the bmw, if not, i have a 2001 suburban 2500 that i use when its ****ty out, its a realitivly simple SUV, not to many systems to go wrong, share most of its parts with one ofthe most popular work trucks in America

sucks at for gas but its a monster in the snow and in the moutains

i love my rover sport too

I just put the top up.

keep in mind that however good your car is in the snow, the car that hits you isn't.

I drive my 650 in the winter. The only thing I do is change to four snows on 18's. Although Colorado gets its share of snow Denver gets no where the accumulation you do. I think you get more on the ground at one time than we do.

It's hard to think about snow when its 90F outside.

There's no winter in Arizona...I just drive my truck when it rains
