320d vibrating engine
my 320d 2001 preface model is vibrating at idle, now its breaking the exhaust cooler pipe above the turbo each time I replace it. I tried changing engine mountings but no luck. Can someone help?

The 320d is not sold in the USA, so most of us don't have experience with that motor.
I remember reading that there have been problems with the harmonic balancer on this engine. The harmonic balancer is the heavy rotating part on the front of the crankshaft. There is a rubber damper inside the balancer that can fail, and this would leave your 2.0d with an out-of-balance condition. If this is your problem, it can be replaced without disassembling the motor.

try to run injector cleaner mixed with fuel first. Check air filter.
