Is this hard to do,I am pretty good at mechanics,
garage want a bundle to do job, if some one had pictures it would be great. surprised there is no mentioned of this valve on a tread as this problem seems to be a common fault with x5s, thick black smoke on acceleration , i think its located at the exhaust manifold |

ive done it my self have no pictures located above the air filter driver side take cover off you can see it

fitted new egr valve last week thanks for your reply

Cool post, but wish there was pics to follow. Do you have the part number of the EGR?
