E82 / E87 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by a naturaly aspirated inline 6 in the 128 or the turbo twin power inline 6 rocket sled 135.

2005 E87 116i - Central lock-up/ unlock system failure

On mine BMW 116i, E87, 2005. I am having a central lock-up / unlock system failure (using either a key or a remote control) so here are some facts:

-The key locks-up and unlocks only the driver's door.

-Central lock-up switch in the booth locks-up and unlocks all the doors and the trunk but does not lock petrol plug cover.

-If I mechanically pull the shutter for locking-up petrol plug cover, then unlock with the central lock-up switch in the booth, shutter retracts (unlocks petrol plug cover).

-Neither of the remote controls (telecontrols) work.

-Computer check of the vehicle does not recognize any defect.

-Tester in the authorized service does not recognize any defect.

-Authorized service have tried to alter the remote control receiving circuit no positive result.

-Authorized service have reprogrammed CPU no positive result.

-Fuses O.K.

What shall I do??
