OEM ipod retrofit kit
hello i want to buy the original bmw retro fit kit . do i really need to have it installed by bmw and programmed?

Do you have the CDC already? IF yes, I don't think it needs any sort of programming. You might want to check the compatibility with your car as I though the Ipod kit works only for those built after 03/05 and you'll need the mobridge unit.

i checked with the seller and he said it wont need aything but retro kit from bmw. yes i do have a cdc
|

u need an late 05 for the factory one to work, I believe your car is an 03, your only choice is the mobrige. dealer charges 700 for the factory kit anyway, so the price is the same...

150 is a good price but it still needs to be coded to the car and u still need the new cd changer cover, I just had it installed at 340 +60 for the new cover, I paid 180 for it, so i paid 580..

i am going this week to my audio guy to see what i can do for the amp ill ask him what works best for the ipod. i really dont want to lose my cd changer

I lost the cd changer, But I still have the cd in dash, sat radio and now the ipod. I love it cause im big into music... My new logic7 amp doesnt hurt either(warr)...
