Anybody's 3-series pull slight right on highways?

Just got my new 2011 and I am loving it.

I already put 700 miles on it since last week and I noticed that after I got back from a 300 mile round trip to Skaneateles, NY (great area BTW) that my car now pulls slight to the right at highway speeds and even at lower speeds on city roads....I kind of always have to have a bit of pressure on the wheel. Now by no means is this pull substantial, but if I were to let go of the wheel, it's initial move is straight, then the car seems to pull farther and farther to the right...The car only has 700 miles on it, and I am afraid to bring it to the dealer for the good will 2000 mile alignment in fear of them screwing it up worse or just telling me "it's normal" or getting the paperwork back after and it says "road tested and could not replicate the problem".

What do you guys think? will an alignment ruin my feel of this brand new car? Or is this quite normal? I had a 2008 328xi and I remember some times it would pull, but that was after about 15000 miles and I only had 2 alignments done on that car over 34,000 miles because of getting new tires. Also, on my old car, the tires weren't run-flats. ( I swithced them out after 15k)

Any input is greatly appreciated!

I was having some of the same issues with mine. They checked the alignment and it was correct. Said the slight drift was from the crown in the road. So Iwould consider that possibility.

Tramlining is a good possibility.

Have you checked the tire pressure? With run flats you can almost never tell when you tire needs air.

I've come to the opinion that the steering is so precise in these cars that even the slightest banking of the road will influence the tracking of the car. By the way, owners of their new F10s are complaining of the same thing in the F10 forum.

Hi....I find when i use different air pressure with the staggered set up I get a slight pull to the right....So i use 36 psi in all tires and it takes care of the problem.

The car wants to point downhill. Most roads have a crown to shed rainwater, so most roads effectively lean to the right.

Find yourself a big old flat parking lot and experiment there. I bet you find the alignment is just fine.

Happens here as well, and we just had an alignment done.

My car must be the exception. It seems to want to go straight down the middle. What's wrong with my 328i? Everything seems to work properly.

Mine feels like it pulls a little, but I think it is mostly due to the slope of the road as mentioned above. But I can never tell, somtimes it feels like it pulls other times it feels like it goes straight.
