Help! Rear deck spoiler???

I am wanting to get the spoiler for the new 5.

The one I see on the BMW site, says carbon fiber (51-62-2-163-505) for like $654.00. I called a dealer and they said this only comes in one color and isn't meant to be painted.

He said there is another one for $371.78 (51-62-8-049-268) that is primed and paint ready. I cannot find a picture of this anywhere.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me. I want it the same color as my car, obviously. Are these parts the same same? Any direction?

I don't really know about the specific spoiler, but one of the beautiful aspects of carbon fiber is that, well, it is carbon fiber. You don't paint it, the pattern of the carbon is what is so interesting. Carbon fiber is also very expensive. Take a look at www.porsche.com/usa and use the 3-D configurator -- look at all the carbon pieces available in a Boxster for example. Beautiful, IMO.

I don't think there is one yet...maybe for old body but not 2011...I would check AC schnitzer
