911 please help

I took my car to INDY here in Vegas to get the coolant look fixed they have come to a standstill this is the email the recp sent me on why they are having problems.



My tech John asked me to email you about a 2002 BMW 745i that we have in the shop.



We need to access the DME to remove the valvetronic motors. Unable to scan vehicle. ISTA, GT1 or hand held code reader do not communicate with vehicle through data link connector. Power is ok, both ground wires are ok. Checked white with blue tracer unable to get good resistance reading between DLC and Gateway module. Not sure if the direction I should be going or not. Vehicle has an aftermarket subwoofer and amp installed in the trunk.



If you have any idea of what he should do next please let me know or give him a call if you can.

CAN ANYONE HELP AND WOULD MY AFTERMARKET SUBS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS THEY SAY THEY CANT CONNECT TO MY CAR

the woofer in the trunk should have nothing to do with it but just for in formation, is all items on the MOST system functional, such as Nav, voice etc. The DME is located below the passenger micro-filter

Woofer in the trunk should not affect the most
bus line . Are all your units working properly
? Navi , Ask , cd changer , MMI , SvS voice recognition

If the dealership does not work out we have taken our Jaguar and Lexus to RG Motorworks to Reddi. He is great and specializes in BMW, Porsche, Jaguar etc. It is located off of the 95 and russell. Kind of a haul but he does great work.
