Tasman Green Exterior--Rarest Color?

I have seen the Tasman Green in my dealers showroom and it looked pretty good. Color is a personal thing, thats why there are so many color choices, but to me the "rare" equates to "dated" . . . . the F10 body style may be around for the next 7 years or so but some colors are only for 1 or 2 model years. I tend to take a traditional (boring) approach to colors, white, silver or black, it makes the model year a little less obvious to pick out.

My Alpine White F10 550 with Black Nappa leather is currently in route.

I just ordered a Tasman Green 535xi with the Oyster interior. My -08 is Graphite Gray with Black interior which I like a lot. The green looked beautful to me at the dealership so I went for it. I hope I like it when it comes in.

Thanks for posting these. I must admit, when I saw Tasman Green on a 3 series at my local dealer I was unimpressed to say the least. After seeing it on your car I think it looks much better on the 5 series. Definitely looks good.

Finally got back from my trip and picked up my ED F10 from BMW Monterey who had kindly stored it inside after it arrived and also fitted black BMW rubber mats as a thank you gift. I think the interior/exterior go well together but the Oyster may need more maintenance if you travel regularly with kids (we don't).

Thank you for the updated pics. Beautiful Tashman green color which to me looks regal :-) The interior is Napa Oyster Black right? This is what I would like for the interior.

The Oyster color is really bright. I have two small children so it would definitely require some heavy maintenance.

The interior is Oyster/Black Dakota leather. The Oyster looks perhaps a little brighter in the pictures than in real life but it is quite light. Depending on lighting conditions, the Tasman Green can sometimes appear more greyish than green and then sometimes there's a hint of Sapphire. In the dark it looks black. It's certainly a different and unique color.
