I don't think that the owner of that car is a douche bag, I'd probably park the same way if I couldn't find an end spot. That car is a customized 1956 Ford. (might be a 1955, but I'm pretty sure it's a 1956)

How is it that it's always a large SUV that double parks in front of Starbucks, takes up 2 spaces, parks right on the line, parks in a fire lane, or parks in a space clearly marked for doctors patients only when they are going to the bank or post office?

I was out and about today in Westport. You know parking lots where they change the angle of the parking spaces, so that there is a small triangular space between the two spaces where the angle is changed? It is always a challenge to find a space in this lot as the lot is specific to a few stores, Williams-Sonoma and Brooks Brothers among them. I got lucky. A newish (2010 or 2011) 328 decided not to take the one available space - my lucky day. As I was pulling in, I saw why the BMW opted out. The car to my right was over the line into my space, I had about 3" to open the door. I didn't really care that much as I was driving my Camry - 178,000 miles and counting. Walking over to Williams-Sonoma, I discovered the problem. The rather large vehicle, a current model Honda Passport, parked next to the triangular area was parked about a foot and a half from the left side (where no other car was allowed to park), and way over into the space to its right, thus cramming every other car. It was probably as bad as I've ever seen. The Passport had so much sh!t in it, including a woman's hand bag, that one could only surmise that the hulking vehicle was leased. If the driver was a regular to the shopping area, the DB knew that parking spaces are hard to get, but just didn't care.

It... does not.
![]() I never park that way anywhere for fear of giving someone a reason to key my car.

Based on the color and "rims," I would guess that the owner has gold teeth and once played in the NBA. And has probably been in prison. |

Does the parking in the lines rule count if your truck doesnt fit in-between the lines? (Yes,I was at the back of the lot too)
