Yea sorry bout that had work and all, uhm so i have a 95 bmw e34 525i. Im 17 my first car been rebuilding it with my dad for awhile. Tomorrow ill post some pictures its raining pretty bad right now.
Oh also the rims are way tooooo big for the car they were on there when we bought it 20" not my style saving up for 17s. As far as performance just put raceland headers on it, a performance chip from performance chip direct (the one you splice into the IAT) works okay, and a K&N cold air intake. |

Also trying to figure out that front end wobble at 50-60 mph and the brake wobble around 45. I was reading and a lot of you guys said it could be the thrust arm bushings, so i bought those and im waiting for them to get here.

for front end get fcp kit and replace the control/thrust arms and sway bar links. if you really want to upgrade get bilstein sports struts and h&r (etc) lowering springs go for 16 in rims will ride nice and handle on rails. bmw recommends doing the whole front end at once and it makes a huge difference rather than constantly replacing worn components. fcp groton has very reasonably priced suspension kits. turner motorsport has great packages on the bilstein/h&r sping sets. it can get pricey but the ride is well worth it and you wont have to do it again for quite some time.

If you plan on keeping the car, I recommend sticking with oem brands. Too many have tried cheap copies that last less than a year, sometimes as little as 6 months.

Which bearings? Wheel bearings I'm assuming.

Large rims really don't look good on the E34. It's a very conservatively styled vehicle.

OP acknowledges in post #5 that the wheels that came on the car are too big and he is saving up for 17's.

18" are way too big imo. 17 inch rims are just right. Please don't use rims that belong on a different bmw series, that generally reflects very poor taste and is very unlike a 5 series' character.

Welcome!! You seem to be pretty car savvy so your best bet on wheels would be to find some nice OEM style wheels and refinish them. I just picked up a set of brand new Style 32s (17") for mine, but haven't gotten them on yet.
Also, Dirty Jerz pride haha. I don't think you're that far away from me. I'm in Wayne Good luck with the car!
