Assistance: Setting Sport Mode as Default to Profile

Hi All,

I just returned my 335i in my sig for a 2011 535i with Sport, Convenience, Premium, and Premium 2 Package, Sport Transmission, Dark Graphite, Oyster/Black. I'm really enjoying the car, however, I find myself switching to Sport Mode all the time. Mainly because I feel more comfortable with the throttle response. I've named my profile and stored mirrors, steering wheel, PDC settings, seat position successfully. However, the car always reverts to normal after restart. Is it possible to set the car to Sport Mode as default for a profile / key fob?

Thank you in advance.

No. If you set the car in Sport or Sport+, then turn the car off it will start in Normal. If you set the car in Comfort, it will stay there. I think the thought is, that if you left the car in Sport, it shifts the tranny in an aggressive way and that would not be efficient when the car is cold. As we all know, the German's hate inefficiency.

Thank you for the quick response. I guess I'm going to have to "learn" to drive automatic after years of manual transmissions.
