New 550ix orders
Hello,
I was just curious, for those who have placed orders for new '11's, how long your expecting to wait from the day your order is placed until delivery? My dealer told me 10 weeks, but browsing this forum it appears it could be sooner than that. I'm looking to order a 550ix but not sure I can wait 10 weeks |

10 weeks is long. My 535i took about 7 weeks. Had my car arrived a few days earlier at the Bremerhaven port, it would have been on a ship 7 days before it eventually did. I think 6-8 weeks is a good estimate. If your dealer lacks allocation slots, there could be a delay getting to production status, but once there, things move along pretty good.

I juss ordered and my dealer told me 6-8 wks but maybe a wk sooner. I cant wait but am using the time to private sale my Range Rover Sport vs trading in to net allot more cash for down payment. Trying to be positive and viewing as an early XMAS gift to my self. Wifey will only get a stocking stuffer now, oh well.
